Essential documents checklist

You are registered in a French university or in any other French school, it is time now to prepare your documents that will allow you to enter and stay in France for the duration of your studies. Check the following list; ask also for assistance from the local CampusFrance consultant and the French Embassy/Consulate near your place of residence; other documentation may be required. - a valid passport - a “student” long stay visa for students studying for more than 3 months - passport size photos (about 8-10) - the original of the letter of admission into the French program - the originals and their certified translations of education qualifications (high school diploma and/or university transcripts) - personal résumé (or CV) - statement (letter) of intent - letter(s) of recommendation from faculty members confirming the ability of the candidate to attend the university program selected - proof of financial resources for the period of study - proof of health insurance plan for students over 28 years of age For more information:
