Q. What is the difference between CampusFrance and a Student Exchange Program?

A. CampusFrance is a personalized studying in France program. EduFrance assists the academic partnerships of your university with French universities, but it is not limited to exchange agreements. You can access any French academic institution or Language Institute through CampusFrance, according to your study plans.

Q. How can a personalized program such as CampusFrance work for me?

A. It depends whether you are:

AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT
- You select the university/language school that suits your study plans
- You select the period and the duration of studying in France at your convenience
- You pay the tuition fees in France at the same rate as a French student
- You can transfer credits to your home university depending on the specific requirements of your faculty/department you are registered in.

A GRADUATE / POST GRADUATE STUDENT
Beside the advantages mentioned above, you can benefit of a selection of bilingual courses or courses taught only in English.

Q. Could I register for Language courses in France?

A. Yes, for any level and duration.

Q. What are the application requirements?

A. They depend on your student status and program selected.

Q. What are the application dead lines?

A. Generally six months in advance for an academic program; 2 to 3 months for a Language program.

Q. Do I need a passport and a visa to study in France?

A. Yes, you need a valid passport and a visa.

Q. Can I study and work in France?

A. Yes, you are entitled to work legally 19.5 hours/week during the academic year; full time during the summer vacation.

Q. How much money should I pay for studying a year in France?

A. It depends on your study plans, financial comfort level, and leisure activities. Given the number of discounts available for students, you might spend around € 1100/month in Paris and € 800 elsewhere.
