Where to study ?

Most major cities have universities (more than 200), specialized schools and research centres.

The quality of higher education is comparable between different French academic institutions, as they are monitored by the Ministry of Education and subject to national standards for curriculum content as the diplomas awarded.

It is up to you to decide where to go, depending on your study plans, the availability of an appropriate program, your financial comfort level, and your personal preferences.

Define your objectives; the local CampusFrance representative will propose to you several study plans!!

WORTH KNOWING: Do you have family or friends in France? If you do, you will probably want to live near them.

ARE YOU FOND OF PARIS ? Keep in mind that living in the City of Lights might be expensive; 80% of French students choose to study in schools outside Paris. If you want to visitn Paris, the High Speed Train (TGV) gets you there in no time. Also, it may be hard to make friends in a crowded city such as Paris.

DO YOU LIKE the mountains, the sea or cities with a rich historical tradition? Do you want to make friends easily?

SO, choose a university/school where you can enjoy studying and living in your preferred environment.
Studying in France is living in France. Do not forget that France is the country that invented le savoir-vivre – the art of living.
