Filipino students with a High School diploma can apply for admission into the 1st and 2nd year of a French university, provided that they are eligible to enroll in a Philippine university.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

To apply for the first two years (DEUG cycle) of university in France, a Filipino student has to complete a preliminary application for admission and to prove that his/her French language skills allow him/her to perform like French students.

HOW TO APPLY ?

A Filipino student, who has a Philippine passport only, should obtain a student visa from the French Embassy/Consulate near his/her place of residence.

IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

- Obtain the application file in December, the year preceding the enrolment
- Before January 31st the completed application (mailed as registered letter) should reach the office of the French Embassy/Consulate or CampusFrance local office, if the student choose to take advantage of CampusFrance assistance
- In February the candidate may receive the French Language test notification at the request of the French institution. The test is administered by the French Embassy/Consulate that processed the candidate’s file (option 1); or by the Alliance Française (option 2)
- The student receives notification of admission or refusal after April 15th

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE APPLICATION

- High School Diploma (certified copy and certified translation in French)
- Birth certificate (certified copy and certified translation in French)
- School transcript of the last two years (certified copy and certified translation in French)
- Statement of purpose
